In September, Apple revealed that next-gen AI features under the Apple Intelligence brand would start rolling out in October. According to Bloomberg, these features will be released in phases starting on October 28, with the iOS 18.1 update for iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 16, and iPads with M1 processors or newer. However, not all features will be available immediately.

Gradual Rollout of Apple Intelligence

The first phase will include smart writing tools such as summarization, proofreading, and style adjustments, integrated into apps like Notes, Mail, and Pages.

Reduced Notifications Mode and Alert Summaries

The update will also introduce a Reduced Notifications Mode, which hides less important notifications. Alert summaries will help keep users focused by allowing only the most important notifications to appear.

Future Updates and ChatGPT Integration

More advanced features, like ChatGPT integration and Siri's ability to interact with third-party apps, are expected in later updates such as iOS 18.2 and iOS 18.4 next year.
